These garments made with Tychem F provide strong, lightweight liquid splash protection for law enforcement, emergency medical services (EMS) technicians and military personnel responding to incidents that may involve chemical, biological or radioactive agents.

Garments made of Tychem F offer protection against chemical warfare agents and a variety of industrial chemicals. Includes taped seams, respirator fit hood and storm flap with double-sided tape over the zipper.

Encapsulated Suits

This Suit full protection suit is a reusable chemical protection suit for providing protection from many different chemicals and hazardous substances. Unlike protection suits that are worn with a compressed air breathing device, this suit is ventilated by an internal breathing air fan.

The fan draws in ambient air via special safety filters and expels it into the head part of the suit. This generates an overpressure in the entire suit that protects the wearer from penetrating hazardous substances. Overpressure valves ensure that the internal pressure does not become too high and used-up CO2 enriched air can escape. The continuous ventilation of the suit provides a pleasant wearing feeling, and the user can remain in the contaminated area for significantly longer

New research coming out of North Carolina State University hopes to provide a next generation HazMat boot that meets both criteria

Gloves-Chemical / Neoprene
